2007年崑曲走向世界 之 澳洲計劃
京崑劇場 與 Australian National University ( ANU ) 於2007年合作舉辦一次為期兩週的京崑藝術介紹及研討活動。詳情如下 :

1) 研討會 暨 圓桌討論 － 中國戲曲文本與實際舞台演出
Public Seminar and Roundtable － Chinese Opera as Literature and Performance
( 本活動蒙 澳洲國立大學 校長 Professor Ian Chabb 親自主持開幕並致辭 )
以崑劇片段舉例，解釋 / 展示戲曲演員的二度創作 － 如何以各種藝術手段
去表達及豐富原文本。其目的在於引領外國觀眾走出一段，從一個較深的文學與藝術層面去了解中國戲曲乃至中華文化。

2) 導賞講座與示範 － 中國戲曲美學
Lecture and demonstration ?The Aesthetics of Classical Chinese Theatre
由本團藝術總監鄧宛霞以英語主講，配合演員表演與打擊樂伴奏，闡述 --
‧ 東西方藝術 ( 特別是戲劇 ) 本質上之異同
‧ 中國戲曲之三大特點
‧ 京崑文武場如何烘托演員的表演 － 內在感情的物化等

3) 演出
包括：
‧ 學生把子 / 身段 表演，並由導師帶領學生打擊樂組伴奏
‧ 崑劇《武松與潘金蓮 ‧ 戲叔》
‧ 京劇《三岔口》選段
4) 工作坊
包括 :
‧ 舞台虛擬動作
‧ 把子
‧ 旦角身段
‧ 打擊樂
‧ 旦角化妝

這個計劃是一個非常有意義的開端。與以往很多戲曲交流計劃不同，我們不只是把一個藝術『製成品』呈現在西方朋友面前，而是通過上述種種形式，趣味性地引領他們從較深層去認識中國的崑曲和京劇，並初步窺探這門藝術的創作過程。由於參與的專家、教授大多數都對中國文化有深入的研究與了解，故整個活動不論在普及或研討方面，均取得了相當理想的成果。
