In November 2008, Jingkun Theatre was invited to feature in the 10th Shanghai International
Arts Festival with The House of Wulong as well as other excerpts from The Peony
Pavilion and The Story of The Stone. In October 2008, Dragon TV – Drama Channel
(Shanghai) interviewed Ms Tang Yuen-ha. The programme illustrated Ms Tang’s life
as an Xiqu artists and highlights of her recent works. Invited guests include Mr
Geng Tianyuan (Resident Director of Jingkun Theatre), Mr Cai Zhengren (Eminent Kunqu
Artist in Shanghai) and Mr Sun Zhengyang (Eminent Jingju Artist – Cou character

Professor Bai Xinyong visited Hong Kong for a series of Kunqu activities in November
2008. C-for-Culture, a local magazine themed in literature and art, invited Ms Tang
Yuen-ha to chat with Professor Bai on Kunqu phenomenon.
